Abstract
In the article features of pathogenetic mechanisms of the combined course of arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus are considered. This pathology potentiates the development of micro- and macrovascular complications, raises cardiovascular risk. Concomitant abdominal obesity contributes to the imbalance of adipocytokines, and complicates the course of type 2 diabetes, impairs carbohydrate metabolism. Insulin resistance development is characterized polygenic nature, caused by gene polymorphism. It was concluded that a comprehensive approach to the study of genetic predictors in the formation of combined hypertension and diabetes type 2 and insulin resistance may contribute directly to more precise selection of therapeutic tactics in patients with hypertension and diabetes type 2.References
