Abstract

The data of laboratory and instrumental examination of 96 patients with chronic stage VD kidney disease allowed to estimate the range and prevalence of renal osteodystrophy and its relationship with the parameters of phosphorus-calcium metabolism. Patients received therapy for 6 months depending on the form of bone tissue damage. The results confirm the expediency of a differentiated approach in the correction of calcium-phosphorus metabolism and the treatment of renal osteodystrophy.
