Abstract
Resume. An early diagnosis of developmental abnormalities in young children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders was observed: alcohol-related birth defects (24 children), fetal alcohol syndrome (28 children) and partial fetal alcohol syndrome (33 children). There was determined of defective diagnosis of the fetal alcohol spectrum disorders from the child’s birth. The results of the evaluation of development domains (cognitive, motor, speech, socio-emotional, adaptive) using the KIDS-RCDI-2000 scale showed a different frequency of their delay in children, depending on the phenotype of the fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. The model of rehabilitation of such children with the involvement of specialists of the multidisciplinary team is presented. The presence in young children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders of medical problems and developmental problems lead to create the concept of organization and innovative elements of care.References
