Abstract

Changes of the fatty acid composition of common lipids of liver and myocardium tissues of rats under the conditions of the previous application of hydrogen sulfide donor under the influence of low doses of ionizing radiation It has been established that the introduction of a 7,4 mg/kg doses of hydrogen sulfide leads to a modification of the fatty acid composition of the common lipids of the liver and myocardium, which is to decreasing the level of some saturated fatty acids, increasing the content of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, increasing the ratio of omega-3/omega-6. These changes are detected after 30 minutes after the introduction of NaHS and are kept during the day. After irradiation with a dose of 2 Gy (after 1 day) detected decreasing of the omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, decreasing in the ratio of omega-3/omega-6, increasing the level of saturated fatty acids. Changes in the fatty acid composition are more pronounced in the liver tissue than in the myocardium. The introduction of NaHS previous to radiation leads to the restoration of the content of most polyunsaturated and saturated fatty acids, the ratio of omega-3/omega-6 to the control level in the tissues under study.
